Food is Medicine

It is very important to understand the value of eating fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes on a daily basis.  That is where our body gets the vitamins, minerals, enzymes and phyto-factors to nourish our cells.  Over a weeks time – eat colorful vegetables from the rainbow.  Look at the size of your fist as a serving size.  Work up to 5 servings of vegetables a day and 2 servings of fruits.

Dont forget to chew till mushy to assist your digestive system in making it possible to get the nutrients released from the vegetable or fruit it came in!
